Yee Haw...

We just got back from a fantabulous pre-grad school trip to Bandera Tejas! The very large town (population 972) is home to the Flying L Ranch, where we partook of some Hill Country cowboy goodness. It was a nice, albeit remote, getaway.

The "petting zoo". Actually just a coupla goats, a sheep and two donkeys- Lilly and Jack. When asked later to recall the donkey's names, Dave happily responded "Morgan Lilly!!".
Practicing for mime school??
My favorite sign besides the random "Minnows" sign on one of the doors at the gas station.
Can't beat a Hill Country sunset, I say.
Dirty and dusty, but happy.

Dave reminded me of Ziggy peeking out from under the sheets of his big Hide-A-Bed.
Dave loved the pony ride, that is... when he didn't hate it....

2 people are wicked awesome. to Yee Haw...:
